25.01.2022 Hourly paid strawberry planting due to start first week in March in Caboolture work directly for the farm not through contractors we are one of the largest farms in Caboolture accommodation available on farm twin share. The weather has not been kind of late with heavy rain and constant storms the boys have been slogging it out laying plastic and irrigation doing massive hours to get the fields ready . To our farm manager Bruce Gordon and his team your commitment and loyalty is absolutely amazing . When you buy our strawberries when they hit stores in may, spare a thought for the amazing sacrifices all the team of farmhands make to deliver you strawberries that are without doubt up there with the best in Queensland !

14.01.2022 Today Sunray Is mourning the passing of one of our most loved and adored employees "Mumma June" . Mumma worked as a picker and planter at Sunray for many many years and was loved by thousands of pickers over the years whom affectionately called her mumma, She was a mumma to all the backpackers over the years and her smile and quick wit will be very sorely missed. She was the first to help a slow worker get faster the first to offer a part of her lunch to a kid that had forgotten theirs . An absolute treasure and brilliant woman whom has gone way too soon Rest In peace Mumma June on behalf of all of us at Sunray and the thousands of kids you helped over the years you will be missed and forever in our hearts xxx

13.01.2022 We have had a call today to the office from a young backpacker stating she received a call from some person stating we require Picker's immediately and asking for personal details . Such as passport and banking details. Please be advised that sunray strawberries would never ask for personal details over the phone and do not use any workers unless they have been registered at our office and given a sunray ID card . We believe this is a scam doing the rounds so please take precaution and if you have any queries always email [email protected]
