24.01.2022 Our Kindy children are getting excited for Christmas 2020. The decorating has begun. We will also be confirming children's bookings for 2021 next week so if you are needing extra days for 2021 please let us know.

24.01.2022 Here is our Senior Toddler children working together as a team to construct tall towers with the Duplo blocks. They carefully took turns to place a block on while their friend held the tower. Great team work!



24.01.2022 Today I would like to introduce Sjaan. Sjaan is Diploma Qualified and has lots of fun spoiling our babies in the Nursery.

23.01.2022 This week is Science week and the Kindergarten children were intrigued with the experiment Miss Kim provided yesterday. It took several attempts, but the celebration was heard throughout the centre when the colours began to mix.

22.01.2022 Next week the children can come dressed in their Pyjama's for Pyjama day. National Pyjama Day is all about wearing your favourite PJ's to help The Pyjama Foundation raise much-needed awareness for children in foster care. The wonderful team at The Gold Coin Op Shop have donated Pyjamas for the children, so please support them.



22.01.2022 Introducing our wonderful Toddler Educators. Miss Jaime is our Lead Educator who provides amazing, fun activities for the Toddlers. Miss Beant joined our team in late 2019 and has just completed her Diploma and Miss Wilma has joined the team while she completes her Certificate III as a valued casual staff member.

22.01.2022 Miss Jenna is studying her Bachelor of Early Childhood and completed her Prac with us over the past 5 weeks. We are all sad to say farewell as she quickly became a part of the team and a favourite amongst the children. We want to wish her well in her chosen career, Jenna is an amazing educator and teacher.

12.01.2022 Thankyou to our families who donated gifts for the children. We wrapped and delivered them to the pediatric ward at the Redcliffe hospital this afternoon and they were very happy and sent their sincere thanks.

11.01.2022 Introducing our Management team. Janine is our Centre Director with 16 years experience in the industry. Jen is our Assistant Director and has been working in long day care for 5 years. Over the next few days we will introduce you to our whole team. Better still come down and see us, we love to show off our modern, fun and happy centre.

09.01.2022 The children are exploring and expanding ways to use language through song. They are demonstrating a confident self-identity by singing aloud in front of their peers and expressing themselves in personally meaningful ways. The children are further showing an appreciation for music as they do there best to sing the lyrics and move their body to reflect the melody of the song.

05.01.2022 Kindergarten are challenged while learning the shapes and sounds of letters. In this activity they are engaging in Modelling, Scaffolding, Collaborating and following Instructions.

03.01.2022 Today marks 2 years since SunRise Kids became a part of the Kippa-Ring community. We want to say a big thankyou to our families for supporting us and we look forward to welcoming new families in the near future.

03.01.2022 Today in Kindergarten we continued to explore the letter N by implementing an experience where the children created their own necklace. The children develop their fine motor skills through engaging in this experience. They further practice their pincer grip through the action of threading, which can prepare them for writing tasks.

02.01.2022 Congratulations Miss Jen for receiving Educator of the Month

02.01.2022 Miss Jen created an activity board for the Nursery children to engage in. The children smiled and laughed as they explored the different objects on the board.

02.01.2022 Introducing Miss Kimberley and Mr Ben. Miss Kim is our Early Childhood Teacher and is doing amazing learning with the Kindergarten children preparing them for Prep. Mr Ben is Diploma Qualified and has brought that male influence to our centre, engaging with the children and providing amazing support to the children as they prepare for their transition to big school.
