10.01.2022 Recently the 20/21 Sunrise board members got cracking on weeding stickers for the Belt Up For Reece Initiative led by Lisa Williams, mother of Reece Williams who was tragically killed from a car accident when he was not wearing a seat belt. Reece, 19, died after falling asleep driving a car on Hervey Range Road, veering off the road into a culvert. Not wearing a seatbelt unfortunately contributed to Reeces death. The initiatives’ aim is to raise awareness amongst youths about the importance of wearing a seatbelt when driving. Overall the team made more than 200 stickers for the initiative.
