20.01.2022 Just reading our reviews love it that people get so much from our property and love their stay on Bruny island. Here’s one from earlier Kerrie Whitehouse 5/5 3 months ago on Google... Stayed at Sunset Bay Escape earlier this month. Magnificent property with everything you would need at hand. State of the art kitchen beautiful fire at night, wi fi, every bedroom has its own bathroom which made it very private and of course the stunning views over Bruny Island waters and not to forget just a short stroll to Bruny Hotel which has beautiful fresh food and beverages. An extremely memorable experience. Will be back See more

15.01.2022 Amber 13 Apr - 14 Apr $300 AUD Sunset Bay Escape Public feedback It was literally my first stay with AirBnB and I have been so impressed I will definitely be using AirBnB again. The booking process was seamless and our hosts messaged me the week before our stay to touch base and pass on necessary information. The photos on the web looked amazing and I tried hard to avoid having my expectations set too high so as not to risk being too disappointed. Instead, I was beyond impr...essed. Directions given by the hosts were easy to follow. We arrived on a sunny Saturday afternoon to a lovely garden, beautiful home and the sun glinting on the water. Opening the door revealed a spacious, modern and sparkling living area. The view was breathtaking. We opened the sliding doors onto a wide deck that overlooks the water, opened our cheese from the Cheese Factory and poured a glass of wine. Bliss! Dinner was around the corner at the Bruny Island Hotel. It is an easy 3-4 minute walk from the house (with an iPhone torch to light the way). The hotel did great pub food - a chicken parma as good as any I have had before. After dinner we settled in. The hosts have a lovely Coonara fireplace that was already built with kindling and firelighters available. They also have a table stocked with local tourism info (which is how we realised the pub provided eat-in and take-away good). The beds were comfortable, the linen fresh and electric blankets provided. The bathrooms were spotless with modern fittings. Perhaps my only (very minor) disappointment was the towels which were too small in one bathroom and all a little worn and thin. However, they were very clean and perfectly acceptable. A note requesting that guests not take off make-up with towels suggested to me that the hosts had previously had disrespectful guests. The house is perfect for 2 or 3 singles (a girls weekend like we had), 2 families or an indulgent stay for a couple. There are 3 double bedrooms with an extra rollaway and cot provided. Two bedrooms have ensures and the other has a bathroom right next door. Overall we were absolutely thrilled with the stay and would go back to Bruny just to stay in the house again. I suspect the hosts have ruined me for AirBnB - my experience was so good I think it has set such a high standard that anything afterwards will be lacking by comparison. Worth every cent. We will definitely be back. Just go there!! See more

Th...ere are no minutes per se, but in general terms the following was agreed: The discussion was polite, respectful and positive Further data analysis will occur SeaLink General Manager Tania Matthews will arrange sessions on the booking system with other stakeholder groups both on and off the island It's important to work closely with the ferry terminal infrastructure project being progressed by the State Government.

05.01.2022 So this year our bake team have gone back to the original "Nicks Favourite" recipe...... If you thought our wood-fired stollen could not get any better then WAI...T till you try this one. Vik and the team have been hard at work perfecting the recipe (we have done a lot of quality control testing) It's rich in spice, dense with marzipan, almonds, fruit and peel. We are really proud of this wood fired stollen and hope you enjoy it as much as we have! Slice it thinly and serve with coffee or lightly toast it and smother it with butter for a mid afternoon treat.
