22.01.2022 Its that time of year again!! Grading date: Sat 21st Nov. Invites will be handed out this week to those ready.... Due to the muck around with covid19 this year we are doing the grading earlier than usual but then another one will be offered just before school goes back at the end of Jan. Then we will swing back into our regular end of school term dates. Grading must be paid for by 18th so your child's spot is confirmed and belts are received in time. Payment on the day is not accepted. Its too hard to process while organising kids as we have usually 80 odd kids grading over one afternoon. Cannot wait to see the kids in action. Its my fav time of year

19.01.2022 We may be a muay thai gym but when one of our fam sets a goal way outside her comfort zone to round out the sparring events she's already leapt head first into this year, we are all there cheering her on! Meet Vanessa! She joined SMT about four years back to do a few mums classes. She is one of the most disciplined people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. When she sets her mind on a goal, she smashes it. When she says she's going to do something, she does and g...ives it her all when doing so. Congratulations Vanessa on placing in every single category today (2x 2nd place and 1x 3rd). Your hard work spoke volumes today and we are so, so proud of you

18.01.2022 As you know we are all about the community.... This year has been absolute cactus for many of us but I ask that if you can, would you please consider donating an unwrapped new gift for kids in care for Christmas. Si and I have had a few kids over the years in our home and to see what these kids arrive with, a new gift for them or something that is just theirs means the absolute world.... The request is the gift to be of no more than the value of $30 for kids aged between 3 and 17 years remembering often the older kids in care are the ones overlooked. I'll be doing drop off late next week if you can please have to me by 22nd October.

Tues 22nd: as normal Wed 23rd: as normal Thur 24th: 5am MT, 6am Fitness Fri 25th: closed Sat 26th: closed Sun 27th: closed Mon 28th: closed Tues 29th: 5pm all kids 530pm teens/adults Wed 30th: 5pm all kids 530pm teens/adults Thurs 31st: closed Fri 1st: closed Sat 2nd: 10am beach session for all followed by BBQ Sun 3rd: closed Mon 4th: all resumes as normal Please keep in mind you are still required to book through sunsetmuaythai.schedulista.com for all classes including the beach session and BBQ. 01.01.2022 Ella and Tia Kearns started with us 3.5yrs ago. They started as white belts in the little thais and worked their way through to black belt. From black belt in the little thais to working their way through the whole juniors curriculum as well, today they got their 2nd black belt.... They are the 1st 2 kids to go through both curriculums and earn 2 black belts. Fantastic effort girls!! We are so proud to see how much you have grown since starting with us. You are polite and respectful and have set yourselves up with great skills in muay thai. Welcome to the 3rd stage of your journey: the teens class For those wondering about our grading system, we put this in place for our kids to goal set and work towards a greater skillset in the sport as they are unable to compete in WA until 12yrs old. This gives kids who want to be challenged the opportunity to continually grow while the opportunity not being exclusive to the hamdful that may want to compete.
