20.01.2022 Update on cutout of bees at Cooran and swarm capture from yesterday Cutout: Thanks to Bev from Cooran for calling a professional bee removalist to remove bees from her home that were entering through a weep hole.... Because Bev was able to notice bees early, the cutout from the bedroom wall was a fairly quick and an easy job, which reduced the costs and minimised the damaged to wall during removal. Swarm: Swarm capture was on my way home, from a concerned homeowner after noticing bees in a tree in her back yard. Bees were re-homed into a nuc box and relocated to my quartinine site for further inspection Thanks for choosing to save the bees

08.01.2022 Another lot of honey extracted. Nice to turn up to apiary yard and find boxes full. Now learning the speed to spin of new extractor. Blew a few frames out going too fast too quickly.

01.01.2022 Another cutout last week. This colony was in the wall of an A frame house at Coolum. This was a job that allowed me to do my exercise as well as a removal as I was constantly climbing my ladder to reach the bees. Another successful job done with the queen found and caged.
