20.05.2022 Only one week until the NRL season kicks off! It's fantastic to see how many former Sunshine Coast Falcons players (and patients) have now progressed onto the NRL. Surely the Falcons have been the most successful NRL pathway/feeder club over the past 5 years. Well done to Chris Flannery and co.

06.05.2022 Just a reminder to all our surgical patients that both Buderim Private Hospital and Kawana Private Hospital require a negative Rapid Antigen Test on the day of admission for surgery. The hospitals will perform the tests.

30.04.2022 In accordance with Queensland Health guidelines, all patients entering our clinic will be required to wear a mask. If you do not have a mask we can provide one for you. If you choose not to wear a mask, we ask you call the office on 54933994 to reschedule your appointment to a time when mask wearing is no longer mandatory. We understand these can be trying times and we thank you for your co-operation.

23.04.2022 Dr Lawrie would like to thank all patients who participated in the preparation of his paper on Arthroscopic Medial Meniscal Root Tear Repairs. Thank you for being available for follow-up and filling out the tedious outcome measures, it is very much appreciated. We have been able to define a number of important outcomes with this paper that have not been reported previously. This includes the bone marrow oedema patterns at the time of the injury and their resolution over time, as well as the utility of this technique in patients with advanced cartilage injury. A huge thanks as well to new Dr Nathan Hopkins for doing the legwork in preparing and publishing the paper. The paper can be found at https://jeo-esska.springeropen.com//10./s40634-021-00405-3

08.04.2022 Please note as per the latest Queensland Health Covid-19 update (Coronavirus (COVID-19) | Health and wellbeing | Queensland Government (www.qld.gov.au)), restrictions have eased to Stage 3. We still require attending patients to wear masks while in our office if they cannot socially distance. While seated masks can be removed, however whilst moving around the office and in the building, we ask that you please wear your mask.
