24.01.2022 Due to travel restrictions, we’re seeing more and more patients presenting with problems with their complex dental work from overseas. I won’t paint every dentist or specialist with the same brush, but these cases are poorly designed, executed, and fabricated. In this case, the implants were probably well placed, however the fixed bridge was designed and fitted in a way that it was not able to be cleaned... this, coupled with the lack of having regular cleaning visits, has led to significant infection and failure of the implants.

21.01.2022 Public Health Alert Community members on Brisbane’s southside are asked to remain alert but not alarmed as Queensland records three new cases of novel cor...onavirus (COVID-19). The first case is a 19-year-old woman who tested positive after travelling interstate last week. She is an employee at Parklands Christian College on Brisbane’s southside. Queensland Health is working closely with the school which has temporarily closed until further notice. The second case is a 19-year-old female travel companion. Both cases travelled interstate together last week. It is believed they contracted the virus in Melbourne, Victoria. The third reported case is a known close contact, a 22-year-old woman, who tested positive later today. This individual is an employee of YMCA Chatswood Hills Outside School Hours Care. Queensland Health is working closely with the school and the care centre, both of which have temporarily closed until further notice. 17.01.2022 We offer dental implants as an alternative to dentures and tooth supported bridges....one of the advantages is that our patients have a single tooth problem...when a dental tooth supported bridge fails... it’s a multi-tooth problem like in this case. A bridge was done to replace a missing tooth, three other teeth were crowned to do this and now with the failure the patient is losing several now several implants are needed...

04.01.2022 Another beautifully integrated dental implant with a maxillary sinus augmentation...ready for a tooth on top!!

04.01.2022 This patient presented on referral of intermittent pain and sensitivity in a tooth that had a large amalgam filling and a subsequent crown placed by a general dentist... multiple appointments and adjustments were undertaken and the patient was eventually referred.... the crown was removed along with remaining amalgam and we discovered extensive cracking in the tooth...the tooth was subsequently removed! Early intervention is key to avoiding this situation
