17.05.2022 You might have noticed that I haven’t been doing counselling, hypnotherapy or my hypno-meditation classes for awhile. As much as I love my work, there came a time last year where I felt I needed a break as my tanks were a bit empty and things had become somewhat out of balance for me. I started doing disability support work instead & really loved it as I found that even though you still give & help, you also receive energy, as you spend a lot of time outdoors and/or simply ju...st having fun with your clients. Perfect right! However, the other day, as I was walking along the beach, contemplating my life & searching for heart shells as I regularly do, I thought that perhaps I was ready to start counselling again as I have been feeling stronger lately (& I have Monday’s free). I had an idea that maybe it could be in the context of just taking a beach walk with my clients and chatting & looking for hearts, rather than being stuck in a stuffy office doing traditional counselling. (Give me bare feet & nature any day...it’s where I discover my answers and my soul finds peace). Within a few days of thinking this, I received an enquiry for counselling whereby the client loved the idea of us having a beach walk and a chat!! I love how the universe gives you signs & confirmations when you are on the right track. My disability support work keeps me busy but if you need some counselling or someone to just hold space for you, then please send me a message and we can organise a beach walk together. I will make time for you as this is still my heart & passion. Hypnotherapy & hypno-meditation classes will be back on the agenda next year also so stay tuned. 03.01.2022 On reflection, 2018 for me was largely about relationships....repairing & restoring the strained ones, strengthening & appreciating the healthy ones and letting go with blessing & forgiveness, the ones that could not be saved. Deep connections with people are my priority as they bring richness and meaning to my journey, but I’ve had to learn that not all those whom you love and/or value are meant to remain in your life. Some come & go, some stay forever and others visit only... briefly to teach your soul a lesson. I’ve also had to learn that it’s important to love without fear, conditions, expectations and unhealthy attachment whilst somehow at the same time, having strong boundaries in place that disallow mistreatment of your precious heart. I’m still trying to figure that balance out. To sum up...in 2019 I will still strive to live & love with kindness, forgiveness, acceptance, allowance and open hands but will do this with an increased awareness of my own worthiness and even more determination to be treated the same way. Happy New Year my people. May 2019 bring you peace, happiness & abundance in every area of your life and also brand new relationships to enjoy, explore, nurture & grow through.
