23.01.2022 Just gotta love the paddock cuddles and the fat cattle. Matt and Mr. MOO just love there cuddles. Around here Mr. MOO is referred to as "Stalker Cow" as he sneaks up on you and licks you. Small descriptions on each photo.

19.01.2022 Yesterday was a really exciting day for all as we have just purchased a set of cattle weigh scales. This is really exciting as we will be able to get 200, 400 and 600 day weights on our animals as well as track growth rates on our cattle. So we were able to get R1's and R2's 200 day weights aswell. I will include on the photo each of there weights and how old they are. Was really happy with the results of how well all our cows are growing especially just being grass fed. ... We also started the day with putting the 2 heifers Rosette R1 and Raspberry Kisses R2 on halters again. Raspberry is a absolute dream like her dam Pumpkin was at the same age. Accepting all that comes her way, especially if it involves food. Rosette has a little bit more fire in her belly but quickly settled down and went for a nap with Melon. This was all done with the help of our two, yep two helpers. We now welcome Izzy into our crew along with Mel. We hope to teach these two girls a little bit of what the cattle world is like and the daily jobs we have to do. Hopefully there will be some shows next year to go too and show them how much fun showing is.

18.01.2022 So today was a massive day for people and animals alike. Today we had the pleasure of Melanie a new recruit for the Sunshine team and her mum Jessica come out to have a day with the cows. Over the day we tagged and tattooed 4 calves and started to halter train Rosetta and Raspberry, which lead into seeing how much Faith has grown and how much she remebered from her short time halter training in March. With finishing of the day with just a general brush and lead around with P...umpkin, Melon and Connie. Safe to say we are very pleased with Mel and can't wait to help her with her passion in the cattle industry and are very excited to teach her and see her progress as it grows in 2020. So all in all welcome to the Team Mel it's gonna be a fun ride. We can only hope COVID 19 will be manageable by 2021.

16.01.2022 Different day, different photo. All is going well at Sunshine. The Sun is shining and the calves are growing.

12.01.2022 So this was our little surprise a born on the 10th Oct. Out of our commercial cow K1 Connie calved this cracker and very spirited heifer. So welcome to the herd SUNSHINE ROXANNE CONNIE R8 This makes 3/3 heifers for the year with one more calf to go. Wonder if she will throw us a bull or heifer???

09.01.2022 Well that's calving finished for 2020. 4 out of 4 for the heifers . K2 BONNIE calved last night at 10pm taking only 10 min from feet to a calf standing on the ground. So meet SUNSHINE RIHANNA BONNIE R9
