23.01.2022 This is what I gazed at on my morning walk ... I never get tired of this view. It inspires me to keep creating. A photo like this one I will use to inspire me to create a painting. For me. Its not about copying it so it is a picture perfect identical portrayal of this photo. It will be a whimsical view of what my eyes have beheld through the photo. Now the next step will be to draw it up SIMPLISTICALLY. (5 MINS)... In my opinion if you spend too long trying to get the idea of the painting on the paper. The less simplistic it will become. I may as well just put the photo on the wall. I remind myself all the time (and to my students) LESS IS MORE) Plan for tomorrow. No 1. Go for a walk and take a photo. No 2. 05.01.2022 I just love my art classes. But today was hard for me. As it was the first time in 20 years that my precious Bella doggy was not there. She would always welcome my students with a tail wag and always make sure she was laying in the most annoying places where we had to step over her or nearly trip over her. Most of all she loved morning tea time and enjoyed her own blueberry muffin. Ho hum life goes on.
