22.01.2022 GRADING LESSON!! We are putting on an extra grading lesson on Monday 14th September for those taking Kyu grades on Saturday 19th. Please arrive at your allocated time: ... WHITE Belts taking Red Belt: 4.30pm YELLOW Belts taking Orange Belt: 4.50pm ORANGE Belts taking Green Belt: 5.20pm $10 per person All new starters are welcome to grade but must be licensed Tai Kai members. Please get in touch with us to order your suit and license up.

21.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE Whilst we plan to stay open for the time being, we will be moving to a modified non-contact lesson, whereas we practice individual techniques and kata in preparation for grading. All students and parents are kindly asked to wash their hands upon entry and exit, and not attend class if sick.

17.01.2022 CORONAVIRUS COVID-19 UPDATE At this stage, while schools remain open, it’s business as usual for Sunshine Coast Karate Academy. We’ll be taking extra sanitising measures and asking all attendees to thoroughly wash hands either with soap and water or hand sanitiser before class starts and before you leave. Where possible, we’ll also be avoiding skin to skin contact.... We respectfully ask any members who have shown signs of cold or flu symptoms to please carefully assess whether they’re well enough to attend class to avoid all risk of spreading any illness. Please follow this page for any more updates as the situation across Australia and our Sunny Coast develops. 06.01.2022 KARATE IS BACK!! We are excited to announce that we are reopening on Wednesday 17th June!! Lessons will run as normal but with some minor restrictions to keep us all COVID safe:... We have a 20 person limit Lessons will be entirely non-contact We will not be sharing equipment We will mostly be asking parents to drop and leave.
