05.01.2022 To my dear Table Tennis friends in Victoria, It’s with heavy heart to announce that I have resigned from Board of Table Tennis Victoria last Friday. It’s becom...ing clear to me that the Board direction is not something that I can support any more and as a result I stepped down as a Director. The recent decisions on the 2020 membership fee has caused great grief amongst affiliated clubs and members. The proposal of the fee change came as a surprise in October Board meeting, with 2 new Board members joining the Board from outside the table tennis community. Now there is another vacancy on the Board. My resignation was not posted on TTV website or FB, I fear that the position will be filled by another appointment outside table tennis community. Hence I’m calling for nominations and volunteers who cares about the sport and want to unite clubs and members. I’m sad to see the struggle of the members and clubs who will lose more players in the coming year. It’s ok to say we want to grow the sport but it’s not ok to simply add burdens on to existing members. This is why I resigned. 05.01.2022 We're happy to announce that we will reopen from Monday February 1st. Our new opening hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 7pm to close. Pennant will return with Monday comp starting February 8th and Wednesday's starting February 10th. NOTE that we will be providing partial credits/refunds for those that played in the previous pennant before Covid struck. We welcome all returning members and new players!
