25.01.2022 ACTIVITIES FOR KIDS! The Knit Wits are going to be down in the Board Room at the Geraldton Multipurpose Center all week 10am-3pm. They are currently challenging Bridge Town for the record that they set being 30,000 knitted items, the Knit Wits are aiming for 31-32,000 items!! There are FREE activities for the kids so come down, check it out and get involved!

22.01.2022 How high can you climb?! The PCYC Climbing Wall will be there on Sunday 10am-2pm and for a few hours each day from Monday to Friday 9am-12pm!

11.01.2022 UPDATE!! It is with great regret, as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic, that the committee has decided to cancel the 2020 Sunshine Festival Family Fun Day. With phase 4 still in place, social distancing poses a challenge for the festival. Community safety of our upmost importance and we believe cancelling is the best option. ... In saying that we will work with the City of Greater Geraldton to continue our participation in the school holiday program Thank you for understanding and we cannot wait to bring a bigger and better festival to 2021!
09.01.2022 Not to be missed!! We have our main act on stage "The Australian Blues Blothers and Soul Sisters" Tribute Band! Performing for us on Sunday evening 4:30-6pm! Come down grab some dinner and enjoy the show! Now also featuring some modern standards including ‘Uptown Funk’ (Bruno Mars), ‘Happy’ (Pharrell Williams), ‘Shake It Off’ (Taylor Swift) and ‘Ex’s & Oh’s’ (Elle King) All wrapped up in the Blues Brothers / Soul Sister theme.

07.01.2022 Last night Geraldton Sunshine Festival was voted Runner up for "Best Local Event" thank you to everyone for all the continued support! We are all Volunteers who organise this Festival evey year and couldnt be more proud! If anyone out there would like to get involved in their community its not to late for this years festival we are always needing help on the day for various reasons including setting up/packing away. So please, if your interested, get in touch Bring on this years Festival starting Sunday 6th October!

If you or anyone you know have business that might like to join please tag away! If you have kids that would like to be in the parade then they ABSOLUTELY CAN! 06.01.2022 In order to be more Environmentally friendly we do not have any printed event Guides this year but we do have these awesome signs printed by "Kick Solutions" at each main entrance (x3) which people can take photos of for your convenience!
05.01.2022 The Sunshine Festival is in its 62nd year. Each year the festival grows bigger and better requiring more hands to make the event run smoothly. If you or anyone you know would like to be apart of the committee please come down to our AGM, details below: Annual General Meeting When: Wednesday 11th March...
