11.01.2022 KINESIOLOGY EXPLAINED Have you heard about Kinesiology but am unsure how it works or how it could work for you? Kinesiology is a reasonably new therapy. It has ...its origins in the Chiropractic field using muscle monitoring, but also incorporates the theories of Chinese Medicine and other therapies. Kinesiology is a holistic modality that looks at the person as a whole, integrating the connections between the mind, physical body, emotions and spirit. Each has an effect on the other. Kinesiology finds and corrects the cause of the issue instead of treating just the symptoms. This way issues can usually be cleared in less time than other therapies. Using muscle monitoring the Practitioner can identify stress or imbalances in the above areas that may be causing disease, or physical and emotional symptoms. Once the imbalances are identified, the Practitioner uses muscle monitoring to determine the specific and individualised type of correction technique needed for the client (i.e. holding acupressure points, sound, oracle cards, essences), to support the body’s own natural healing process, and bring the physical, psychological and energetic body systems ‘back into balance’. Kinesiology can benefit: anxiety and depression; physical pain; stiffness or soreness; diet and lifestyle; allergies and auto immune disorders; digestive disorders; stress management; learning and relationship challenges; structural or postural issues; circulation issues; promotes a sense of equilibrium.
