25.01.2022 Justin has done the shave for the World's Greatest Shave to raise money for the Leukaemia Foundation. Disappointingly there have been no donations on his page but some generous clients have donated in the box at the front counter. The practice will be adding to that amount. It is not too late to donate. Just go to worldsgreatestshave.com.au and write Justin Bulling in the boxes to find his page or use the button above. Remember that in the current conditions donations to charities are much reduced and the Leukaemia Foundation is carrying out life saving research that may benefit you or someone you love.

25.01.2022 This year Justin is going to participate in the Worlds Greatest Shave again. http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au/justinbulling

24.01.2022 It's that time of year again. Ticks have become active and we have seen cases of paralysed animals. We are seeing less cases each year as more clients use the newer Isoxaziline preventatives such as Nexgard, Bravecto and Simparica.

23.01.2022 Beautiful Ella the clinic dog enjoying her time at Noosa North Shore today.

23.01.2022 With the cooler weather fleas become less active and so less noticable. There is the temptation to stop flea control over the cooler months. This is a big mistake a lot of pet owners make as the fleas will still survive on pets and in the warmth of your home will continue to breed and lay eggs. The eggs will not hatch until the temperature is about 23C and 70% humidity so they will just build up in numbers. When the weather warms in spring there can be a sudden mass hatching resulting in an explosion in flea numbers. We have clients coming in every year in about September complaining of this. Effective flea control such as Comfortis, Nexgard or Bravecto over the winter period will avoid this problem.

17.01.2022 This is a true anecdote from a veterinary forum. A cartoonist embellished it.

15.01.2022 Little 4 month old Rufus came in for his second haircut. His owner loves the groomed look. With the warm weather starting Emily is all ready to give your dog or cat a nice clip and groom. You can call the clinic and talk to her about what you would like.

15.01.2022 The clinic will be closed from Christmas day and will reopen on the 3rd of January. We wish all our clients a merry Christmas and we will see you in the new year

14.01.2022 This poor little pooch came in with sudden onset of very itchy lumpy skin. This is called urticaria and is a hypersensitivity reaction. We see it mostly in young dogs and generally assume that they have chased a wasp or hornet and the sting has resulted in the reaction. Older dogs are much wiser so we don't see it so much. Steroid anti-inflammatory and antihistamine injections made him feel much better.

06.01.2022 Hi, this little guy wasn’t on our back deck last night where he is supposed to be. We are on property at Image Flat. If anyone has seen him out and about?? please contact us. His name is Jasper.

04.01.2022 I just found this video of Pillow at 4 weeks old. Obviously having a nice suckling dream!

03.01.2022 The practice will remain open as usual. If you are coming without an appointment for over the counter sales please check that the waiting room is empty. Our aim is never to have more than one client group in the clinic at any given time. If the wiating room is occupied please wait away from the stairs until the previous clients leave. Appointments will be widely spaced and we ask you to be slightly early and wait in your car. We will call your mobile to tell you when to come ...in. With the RSL closed there are usually plenty of close parks out the front. Rails, doorknobs, front counter etc. will be regularly wiped with disinfectant throughout the day. If the state has a full shutdown we will not open the Nambour clinic but will be available on the phone by diversion and can still offer all necessary services either at our Montville clinic or by appointment in Nambour. Your Fur Babies health requirements are one thing you will not have to worry about!. Stay safe!

02.01.2022 What is it with cats and boxes? ....and frypans!

01.01.2022 Unfortunately due to family commitments, Justin will be away on Wednesday and Thursday. Emily will be available at the clinic on those days from 9am to 5pm to book appointment, nail clips, ROS and general questions. Friday we will be closed as it is a show holiday and we will be closed on the Saturday as well.
