23.01.2022 Tonight District 201V2 had an Awards Presentation for the term 2019-2020. Presented by Past District Governor Dennis Grant (Shirley), Past Cabinet Secretary Lee-Ann Anselmo and current DG Delwyn Seebeck. And what a night! We were rewarded with the International President's Certificate of Appreciation and a huge congratulations to Alan Dash, whom was awarded with the Ian M Stockdale Humanitarian Award!

22.01.2022 Alan and Ian visited Clunes this week, where one of our Lions Centennial Projects begun with planting 100 trees back in 2017. Since then we have been visiting annually and had also planted a second lot last year. The tree next to Alan was one of the trees that were planted last year, what a surprise as to how fast it has grown!

10.01.2022 What a pleasure for District Governor Delwyn Seebeck to visit our club tonight in a Zoom meeting with a bit of dress up. It was a pleasure to learn of her life story, an amazing role model for us all. A good way to start the long weekend!

07.01.2022 **SEEKING DONATIONS OF MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS** There is a Disadvantaged Children's program that is running in Samoa by a music school to support kids that are living on the streets or are needing assistance in other ways. We are supporting this program by donating musical instruments, in particular recorders; but any musical instruments are welcome. Please shoot us a message through messenger and we can arrange a pick up. ... For those that do not know, one of our projects is our Samoan project that we have ongoing for over 16 years now. Annually, we send a container organised by DIK (Donations in Kind) in collaboration with Rotary Caroline Springs to aid in providing useful goods such as school stationary, computers, furniture (desks, chairs, hospital beds), clothes etc. for their schools, hospitals and even entire villages as well as other places in need across Samoa. Thank you in advance for your support of this project and our club.

05.01.2022 Best wishes to everyone and thank you for your continued support towards our club and Lions in general. Enjoy this special day of a tough year.

05.01.2022 To all the amazing dads out there, you deserve a pat on your back and those who we miss greatly, we love you.

05.01.2022 Finally we had our first face-to-face meeting during the COVID19 pandemic this week and we decided to share the $25,000 raised for the Bushfire Appeal to the following: $10,000 to Corryong Lions working with Farm Aid repairing fences. $10,000 to Bruthen Lions Club developing a Tool Library for use by the local community. $5,000 to Southern Ash Animal Shelter looking after sick and injured wildlife. As promised all funds raised has been distributed to volunteer organizations, ...so all money will be used to support those in need.
