14.01.2022 Department of Transport and Main Roads Maritime Safety Queensland NOTICE TO MARINERS 354(T) of 2020 Issued by Brisbane Maritime Region on 25 September Area: Bri...sbane pilotage area Locality: Mooloolah River Bar Activity: Shoaling Mariners are advised that a hydrographic survey of the Mooloolah River and its coastal bar on Friday 25 September 2020, shows a shoal patch extending from the end of the eastern breakwater in a westerly direction across the entrance channel. The shoal has a least depth of approximately 1.9 metres at LAT near the east side of the entrance channel white sector. The shoal has a least depth of approximately 1.2metres at LAT on the eastern edge of the red sector indicated by the port entry light and a least depth of approximately 2 metres at LAT on the channels western edge indicated by the green sector of the port entry light. The hydrographic survey shows the waters south and west of the entrance channel shoal patch has depths generally at or in excess of the 2.5m design depth at LAT. Map S11-480 attached, shows the current channel. Copies of the survey plan are available from the Sunshine Coast office of Maritime Safety Queensland at Mooloolaba.
