20.01.2022 A reminder that the spiritual path to awakening is not an easy or perfect journey ~ The Unalome Whilst the Unalome’s true origin is not exactly known, it is known to come from ancient India and is a symbol for the journey to enlightenment. It can be found within both the Hindi and Buddhist tradition. 1.Within the Buddhist community the Unalome’s coils represent the twists and turns that life takes, the straight line is where enlightenment, peace and harmony is ...found. The dots represent death, when we fade into nothing. 2.Whilst in Hindu it represents wisdom, and the path towards perfection with an added lotus flower representing overcoming the difficulties that are faced whilst seeking perfection or sometimes as a symbol of new beginnings.
