The annual kerbside collection program has been suspended for two years in effort to save $13 million. Rates Freeze The BCC will freeze rates for six months and then from January 2021 rates will be increased on average by 2.5 per cent. Parking Metres The parking metres will be increasing by 20 cents per hour from Jan 2021. Wage Freeze The BCCs 10,000 workers will have their wages frozen for two years in an effort to save an approximate $36 million. Quick recap: Conveyancing is the process of transferring ownership of a legal title of land or property to the new owner.... The cooling-off period is a set number of days after you make a purchase in which you can cancel your legal agreement. Does this include backing out of a signed contract? Absolutely. However, there may be a termination fee In Queensland, you will have to pay the seller a termination fee of 0.25 per cent of the purchase price. Unfortunately, the cooling-off period isnt available everywhere and under every circumstance. In Queensland, you have five business days to cancel your contract.
