18.01.2022 Great news for our Melbourne community: In line with recently eased restrictions for Metropolitan Melbourne, professional photographers (for purposes other than previously permitted purposes i.e. news, broadcast and real estate) have been added to the permitted workers list. Professional photographers with an ABN are now permitted to work as long as they are working outdoors, with up to five people and where physical distancing can be maintained.... This means that SUNSTUDIOS Melbourne is now open to hire to professional photographers who specialise in areas other than news and broadcast. To celebrate this small step towards a new normal, we are offering 15% off the first rental to eligible customers that meet the above criteria, until 30 November. The Melbourne studios remain closed and the sales showroom remains open for click and collect please contact via phone or email. His portraits for The New York Times Magazine of displaced Yazidi people and other minorities who have suffered human rights violations won First Prize in the 2020 World Press Photo Contest within Portraits, Stories. They are currently on display at the The State Library of New South Wales as part of its touring exhibition, until October 18. Read our interview about his experience making this powerful work.

Gear will be brought out for demo as required and cleaned after use Studios: We will book one studio at a time, with a maximum of 12 people. Each booking will have exclusive use of the loading dock. For studio clients we have appointed an onsite COVID marshal to monitor social distancing, mask wearing and as your friendly point of contact for any queries.
