It's not just the latex and plastic in balloons that causes problems, it's also what they're tied with that can get into the guts of aninals. There are many other alternatives, including butterflies or doves (though doves are not available in our locality) or planting a tree or tying a wish on one, or giving people a bulb to take home and plant. http://sustainability.umich.edu/news/balloon-release-impact

05.01.2022 Loved these boho confetti cones, we put them in rusty buckets and they looked great, plenty of confetti to fill the cones and more leftover, confetti colourful tissue-paper so created clouds of colour, kids absolutely loved them.
