18.01.2022 It's NEVER a good idea to build a business with all your eggs in one basket. One supplier, one customer etc. Just like in a stock portfolio, you should ALWAYS diversify, so you are not caught out if this sort of thing happens.

17.01.2022 Buy Nothing Day Whether something is a "good deal" for you today or not should not be determined by the savings you're being offered. It should be solely determined by your needs and the needs of your business... today.... What you choose to invest in today should be driven by the next step you need to take to grow your business... by the very next obstacle or problem or issue you need resolved right now. Your buying decisions for your business shouldn't be dictated by a "good deal" or a "hefty savings" for something you may need or may want at some point in the future. No. What are your "next step needs" right now? Rich Schefren used to talk about this as the difference between Just In Time Learning versus Just In Case Learning. Just In Time Learning is all about what you don't know or don't have right now which is stopping you from taking the necessary next step in your business growth. Just In Case Learning is all about spending your time and money on things you may need or want at some time in the future. Just In Time Learning is smart. Just In Case Learning is not. Just In Time Learning produces clarity and breakthroughs. Just In Case Learning produces info-overload and overwhelm. Just In Time Learning is logical. Just In Case Learning is emotional. Whatever you choose to invest in today -- if you decide to invest in anything at all -- make sure it's based on your needs today, the missing piece needed right now to move your business forward. If you think about your business, marketing, and sales right now... What one piece or one thing... if improved or fixed or dialed... would have the biggest and most valuable impact on your business success right now? Whatever that is... that's the only thing you should focus on. The only thing you should invest in. And I would challenge you to take a good hard look at your knowledge and process for consistently turning prospects into new buyers. - P.S. A good deal is only a good deal if it gives you what you need right now. Don't spend money on some Black Friday package just cause of the savings. You're still spending time and money on something which likely won't help you overcome the obstacle or issue you're facing today. Like I said... If the most valuable thing you can do for your business today is have a rock-solid customer-acquisition campaign, then let's talk. (Source: Todd Brown)

15.01.2022 Not all franchises make money. And not all franchisors tell the truth. Why would you ever risk (potentially) $millions on a franchise when you can start a profitable, passive income, global online business from home for a few hundred up to maybe a few thousand dollars? Australia's consumer watchdog will argue that RFG broke the law when it sold or licensed 42 loss-making stores to incoming franchisees between 2015 and 2019.... Gloria Jean's, Michel's Patisserie and Donut King sued for allegedly lying to franchisees http://www.abc.net.au//accc-donut-king-gloria-jea/12984586
