21.01.2022 Hi everyone ! Would you like to be a part of some extra-curricular projects? This is a great opportunity for resume building!! We will be posting videos during the semester to spread awareness on specific medical conditions and pharmacy concepts on their respective awareness days. More specifically the project will focus on the role of us pharmacists when confronted with such situations. The Faculty of Pharmacy will also be part of the project as some professors will also ap...pear in the videos. If you are bored during the break, if you are part of the Pharmacy Leaders Program or if you would simply like to learn more about our wonderful field, this is your chance ! We need volunteers to: - Gather information (and write scripts based on the information gathered) - Be filmed or recorded providing information - Video editors How will you benefit? This opportunity will allow you to show us your creativity skills, to actively learn about certain diseases and earn points if youre in the Pharmacy Leaders Program. When will you be working on the videos? We want to finish the videos before Semester 2 so you can focus on your studies only during the semester. The videos will be posted on their respective awareness days. To give you a clearer example, the upcoming day would have been Hepatitis day on July 28th. On July 28th, we would have posted a video on Hepatitis explaining the symptoms, treatments, our role as pharmacists, the importance of raising awareness (etc) by editing clips that include you, your peers and/or staff members using the information that you or your peers have gathered. We spent the day yesterday sorting out the second round hoodies as theyve finally arrived after delays due to COVID-19. SUPA will be hosting two pick-up days for everyone to collect their hoodies from the SUPA office.
