23.01.2022 COVID REMINDER To our wonderful parents and coaches, We sent this to all our coaches and thought it would be fitting to share with our wonderful community. ... WE CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH THAT THIS IS A COVID SAFE EVENT AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK WITH YOU ALL! The weekend is almost here, which means that round 2 is almost upon us. We hope you are as excited as we are to experience another day of electric and passionate footy! Due to recent light being shone upon Super7’s League, it is more important than ever that our community works together to ensure that all Covid guidelines are met as the spotlight will be on us. If our event was to be shutdown due to spectators failing to comply with our regulations, there will unfortunately be no refunds given. Therefore, it is absolutely imperative that we work together as a team to ensure that the competition can continue for the full 7 weeks. Our guidelines are as follows: - Maximum of TWO spectators per child. - Arrival of no more than 30 minutes before game - Must leave grounds immediately following game The games will be live-streamed via The Final Whistle on Facebook for those who are unable to attend. There will be security policing the number of spectators attending with players. If spectators are caught failing to comply with the Covid guidelines, penalties for that team may apply which would be incredibly unfortunate. We completely understand that this is an exciting time and we wish that Super7’s League could be celebrated with unlimited spectators and time at the grounds, but unfortunately due to circumstances out of our control, this is not the case. If society continues to work together as one, then hopefully one day in the near future, these Covid regulations will be a thing of the past. 22.01.2022 EXTREME WEATEHR ANNOUCEMENT Are per the Sports Medicine Australia and Play NRL Heat Guidelines, we have made the extremely difficult but necessary decision to cancel Round 4. This was not an easy decision but was absolutely essential for the safety of all players, spectators and staff. ... We evaluated our options but unfortunately, there was no one alternative that suited our whole competition, thus making the competition unfair. Despite your disappointment, we know that you and your children will understand that this was the necessary decision to make. Catch you all for Round 5

However, with the extreme weather forecast for Saturday 28th of November 2020, it is timely to remind everyone of the requirements in relations to the Play NRL Extreme Weather Policy. https://www.playrugbyleague.com//heat-guidelines_with-chan A decision is going to be made on Friday 27th of November, 6pm. We will be evaluating options such as time changes, but appreciate that this also presents its own difficulties. We are very hopeful, and having our awesome athletes play is at the forefront of our decision, but we will also take all the necessary precautions and actions needed to ensure the safety of all participants, coaches and spectators. YES - A coach or parents will purchase a team ticket through our registration site. Cost? $700 + $30 admin fee Does my expression of interest secure my spot? How many games will we play on the day? Each age group will play 5 round games. What happens if the event is canceled due to COVID, do I lose the whole registration fee? NO - Your team will be refunded $650 My team isn’t divisions 1, can we still register? YES - We have added an open division for all age groups.
