19.01.2022 Throwback to 2019 43 riders and 13 support crew took off on a journey of 1000km around regional South Australia to raise funds for country cancer patient's accommodation in Adelaide. We enjoyed incredible food, including dinner at the historic Yalumba, cheese platters courtesy of Food According to Bree, and a pizza feast provided by our good friends at La Pecora Nera (The Black Sheep)! ... This year we successfully got through Kadina without making a U-turn, but that didn't mean we stayed on route the entire time ('Turn Left Trav' ). The dummy awards had so many worthy recipients, and who can forget when the food van drove off with its door wide open! Our most recent event was filled with lots of laughter, high spirits and, the formation and strengthening of friendships. Bring on Mercer SuperCycle 2021 when we can all be together again! Mercer has showed their support since inception, becoming the Naming Rights Sponsor in 2014, yearly encouragement of rider participation and contributing to building The Hospital Research Foundation's Under Our Roof houses for country cancer patients and their families. 19.01.2022 EXCITING NEWS!! Yesterday Jim Jeffery, SuperCycle Inc. Chair, toured the third Under Our Roof home located on Level 4 of Bowden 354 On the Park East. The Hospital Research Foundation have now received the keys and will transform the apartment into a home-away-from-home for regional cancer patients to utilise when in Adelaide for treatment. Jim also inspected an apartment located on Level 10 which will become the fourth Under Our Roof home! With settlement in October, mo...re regional cancer patients will benefit sooner from the additional Under Our Roof home. We can't wait to celebrate your incredible achievements on the 10th anniversary and final Mercer SuperCycle next March! 17.01.2022 Throwback to Mercer SuperCycle 2017! What an incredible year we had with 50 riders and 20 support crew members cycling through regional South Australia. This year over $405,000 was raised to go towards the purchase of the third Under Our Roof home! ... Some highlights included being photographed by the South Australian Tourism Commission, cycling through South Australia's beautiful wine country, a warm welcome from the Wallaroo community, and coffee at the Barbed Wire Pub Spalding! 17.01.2022 Who is looking forward to the climb of Gorge Road to kick start Mercer SuperCycle 2021? Less than 10kms from Adelaide CBD, Gorge Road is a spectacular ride following the Torrens River up to Kangaroo Creek Reservoir.
17.01.2022 Throwback to 2013 for the second SuperCycle ride! During 2013 we visited a total of 10 regional schools where Super Sid entertained and educated students about SuperCycle. Students also had the opportunity to ride their bikes with the riders. This was also the first year where we had two pelotons for the first day of the ride to Clare. Throughout we were welcomed with open arms during our community stops, especially in Wallaroo where the school children had covered the gym wall in drawings for us!

11.01.2022 While we are preparing the third Under Our Roof home to welcome its first guests, we want to take a moment to reflect on the launch of the first two houses Throwback to 2015 when a major milestone occurred with the completion of two family-style homes in Woodville West, built solely for the purpose of providing a ‘home-away-from-home’ for country cancer patients who need to travel to Adelaide for cancer treatment. Since then, these two houses have provided comfort to over... 70 families during a heartbreaking time in their lives These two houses represent the incredible achievements of a group of passionate people who want to make a difference in the lives of regional cancer patients. Thank you to everybody involved in making the first two houses a reality, and we cannot wait to show you third house completed!
11.01.2022 Throwback to Mercer SuperCycle 2018! "Let's ride from Melbourne to Adelaide via the Great Ocean Road" cheerfully shouted the people, and so we ventured outside of South Australia for the first time in SuperCycle history for new experiences Melbourne - Geelong - Apollo Bay - Port Fairy - Mt Gambier - Robe - Meningie - Adelaide ... We were witness to breathtaking ocean views, and every turn along the Great Ocean Road was a lovely section of coast. The days were long on this ride (197kms and 2000ms of climbing on one particular day), however the camaraderie within the pelotons was strong. One of the best experiences was an incredible morning tea put on by the Millicent Lionesses, where it turns out one of the members had used the Under Our Roof houses. It was truly special meeting somebody who had benefited from Mercer SuperCycle and gave us only more reason to ride. And who can forget the Melbourne to Geelong Day 1 ride filled with strong head winds, rain, regional fires and a near-miss ferry ride. Riders also experience the longest day ride on a SuperCycle event so far - 188km in one day from Morgan to Murrary Bridge. ... Some special experiences during the event included having dinner at Monato Zoo and riding on the Cockle Train along the Fleurieu Peninsula coast to Victor Harbor....
