25.01.2022 Amazing how a bushfire spreads. Notice the embers that start raining and then catch the fuel on the ground alight. Then the fire storm comes through and joins all of the spot fires up. 14.01.2022 [Hail Damage Update] - MP for Caloundra Mark McArdle... "In this area of Queensland there's no requirement legally to put in what is called sarking," Mr McArdle said. "Sarking is a membrane that sits under cement [roof] tiles ... water goes through, it hits the sarking then runs off into the gutter."... Mr McArdle said building policies may need to change to reflect the need for sarking in all Queensland homes.
