22.01.2022 Absolute scorcher today in Adelaide reaching 40degrees! Lucky we decided to hide out in the hills where it is much much cooler Hazard reduction on this monster Bluegum, removing a very large limb over the customers house and shed. Minimum room to work so was a very tedious task to get this limb down safely and without any damage. Customer was left with a nice little stash of firewood for next winter too Can you spot the climber? Good reference to the size of this beast. #breedthembiginadelaidehills
20.01.2022 Big tree, big day, big load of firewood! Its nice to get the big jobs out of the way early on in the week
20.01.2022 Thankyou for the kind words Sian Any feedback is good feedback! Negative only helps you grow to serve clients better should you choose to address the highlighted issues within your business if there is any.... Good feedback is great for morale, makes the team and their efforts feel appreciated and want to continue to strive towards excellence! We do our best to make sure our customers are 110% satisfied and would welcome any constructive criticism should the day for it come. Until then we will just keep doing what we do! Great job team
18.01.2022 Mondays aren’t all they are ‘cracked’ up to be....
15.01.2022 Its good to be out of lockdown! Straight back into it This customer tried a few companies to come and remove 3 stumps from this raised garden bed and all said it cant be done.... Well we like a challenge Rockwall, fence panels and storm water pipes to dodge and all stumps removed without a scratch tight access stump grinding is our specialty.
14.01.2022 Late Monday night we got a call out to help rescue a few injured koala’s from the fire grounds in Cherry Gardens. Its not ideal climbing tree’s at night but the sooner the koala’s were retrieved from tree’s and administered medical treatment the better! With only a couple of torches working in darkness, together we successfully rescued them safely and they are now getting the care and treatment they need by Souther Koala Rescue and doing well. Hopefully after some rest and treatment they will be released back into the wild and carry on with their happy lives well done to all involved

09.01.2022 (Excuse the poor video quality, you can thank facebook for shrinking the file size) This is one form of scarf cutting commonly known as ‘Tongue & groove’ or ‘Tombstone’ cut. The use and purpose is to make a leaning tree falling in the desired direction away from where it would naturally want to fall. The ‘tongue’ stays seated in the ‘groove’ during the fall. Most times the ‘tongue’ will remain inside the ‘groove’ even once the tree is on the ground but in cases like this where the tree is severly leaning they do tend to jump out at the last minute. This video shows how the felling direction was altered allowing the tree to fall away from the vegetation underneath without damaging it instead of landing falt on top. Enjoy
08.01.2022 Stinking hot day, dead Eucalyptus removal over a house and no drop zone Its what we do
08.01.2022 That scrappy ugly looking palm tree in your yard doesn’t necessarily need to be removed. They do clean up rather nicely with a little bit of tlc and annual maintenance. It could be a simple as just removing dead/dying fronds & seed pod, lifting the canopy to a desired height or the full works including shaving of the trunk
08.01.2022 Block clearing exercise to make way for sub division. Removal of a large Peppertree/Prunus/Silky oak/Cypress/Agonis/Taucoma vine and roughly a dozen stumps to grind. Happy customers and neighbours should be too now their gutters wont be constantly filled with leaf debris causing blockages
01.01.2022 Pyrus ussuriensis otherwise known as Ornamental Pear/Manchurian Pear, love them or hate them! These tree’s have inherent branch weaknesses, which means that it can fall apart and in a home garden that's a considerable safety problem. Alot of correction pruning went into this pair by removing rubbing/crossing limbs, dead wood, limbs with faulty unions, thinned out the crown to allow more airflow and sunlight along with a good canopy lift. Thats enough pruning for now, we wil come back in 12months time and do some formative pruning to the crown to give them better shape
