25.01.2022 Our design in Blyth St. Being complete for a few months.

23.01.2022 After a good length of quietness (and needing a break from Facebook), it is time for Supernatural to make our presence felt. We've settled into our new office (no longer based from home) , have new crew, and building a good base of projects and clients. We've also rejigged the website. It is now very 'app' based and much simpler.... Would love for people to view it, provide feedback, and spread the news. At the end of the day, we are keen to grow and would love to get our name out there a bit more than it currently is. www.supernaturalgroup.com.au

We will have a stand to welcome visitors and potential clients, and will also be delivering a session at the public speaking stand on Sustainable Design principles. Looking forward to it.

12.01.2022 Evening All. I have just posted the first YouTube video in my next series of Revit tutorials. We are also on the countdown for the Bendigo Sustainable Festival at PepperGreen Farm on Saturday 9th April.... I'll have an exhibitors tent there and will be delivering a talk on sustainable design as well. If you've got a quiet weekend ahead, maybe make time to make your way up to Bendigo ... enjoy what they have to offer and enjoy the festival!

11.01.2022 The Macedon Ranges Sustainability Festival was a great event. Got to meet plenty of potential clients and saw some interesting exhibits. Even got up close to my new favourite car ... The Tesla. All electric supercar. The current model is rather pricey ($130,000) but you get a lot for that price. Hopefully in 2017 we'll see their new car which will be much more affordable.

06.01.2022 Well, after a good amount of work, we have a set of completed plans for the Blyth St project. Still need engineering but the drafting is done. Going to hopefully see construction start mid-year.

04.01.2022 Hi All. After an enjoyable day at the Macedon Ranges Festival, I have now started making queries to be an exhibitor at the Bendigo Sustainable Festival on Saturday 9th April. We have almost finished the documentation for the Blyth project. It has been a struggle to get this to meet the minimum 6-Star rating (on paper) but it looks like the client will add double-glazing to give the design a good boost.... I wrote a blog about this http://tinyurl.com/jmmto7z. It is so important to get passive solar orientation and materials right when designing a home.

02.01.2022 Well ... set myself up for a challenge, and accepted the BDAV (Building Designers Association of Victoria) 10-Star challenge. This is an annual event where our industry is given the opportunity to design a building that consumes no energy. This year's theme is a coastal setting with a very narrow block. Combining all this together makes for some head scratching, but it's fun!
