22.01.2022 Waterbirth is safe! Something we have known for a long time, but now we have the study to prove it. "Results: There was no significant difference between the length of first, second and third stages of labor between the 2 groups. Cesarean births were significantly higher in conventional delivery group than water-birth group. First and five-minute Apgar scores were significantly higher in the water-birth group. 06.01.2022 A celebration of my body and life My name is Renee and my body has served me well. I have created, grown, nurtured and loved 2 beautiful souls.... My body has stretched to the almost impossible to grow my babies inside of me. My body has hypnobirthed my little ones earth side with ease and efficiency. My body has nourished my children's bodys by breastfeeding for 4.5 years, consistently, every single day. My body has battled the complication of broken sleep for 4.5 years. My body has continued to serve me post separation, allowing me to be physically and emotionally healthy and present for my kids. I am so proud of myself and grateful for the experience of motherhood and everything that comes with it. When I see my sagging tummy skin, or my tiger stripes, I remember the miracle of pregnancy and birth. When I look at my itty bitty titties, I remember the 4.5years of breastfeeding and their constant fluctuation of size. When I stare into my soul I see the journey I have travelled, the battles, the highlights, and I am content. It's really easy to hide my body away from the image perfect world, but this is who I am, my body tells my story and I am proud of who I am
