24.01.2022 Getting organised and decluttering a space doesn’t always provide a Instagram worthy before and after shot. For some making the decision to start the process is the biggest hurdle. Some clutter like deceased estates encompass not only physical clutter, but memories and moments in time and the process can be incredibly emotional and painful. Every time you walk past the space it can evoke emotions which can make the process of actually starting incredibly difficult. That’s where I step in. Chipping away box by box, item by item and before you know it progress happens. This particular client was after years, able to park a car on the other side of the garage and sort through both parents belongings and actually see the garage floor.

12.01.2022 Arts and Craft Room overhaul. Ensuring we had a space for each activity and each age group. We created a LEGO Construction zone, painting area, stock/storage wall, adults cleaning area and a sitting space for all other arts and crafts

11.01.2022 Kitchen Appliances are a belonging in our homes that take up a huge amount of space due to their size. Some people love to collect them, others only have the basics. Today’s task is to pull them all out onto the bench or dining room table and see if you have any duplicates. Do some appliances overlap and do the same thing? When was the last time you used them? 10.01.2022 Staying on top of your children’s wardrobe is an ongoing job. As soon as you seem to get it under control, the seasons change and/or they grow. My beautiful client was struggling to find what she needed and felt overwhelmed. With a complete wardrobe overhaul she is able to see what she has, coordinate outfits easily and feel like she is back in control.

09.01.2022 Today is about clearing the paper clutter. Collect it all and either recycle, action or bin. This includes junk mail, newspapers and magazines you have already read. 09.01.2022 When I created this challenge this was one of my favourite days. I thought especially for mums we tend to get everyone else sorted and forget about ourselves. However, in light of the way we are currently living I need to tweak today. So write a list of the specialists/doctors/beauticians you need to see when things return to our new normal. In the interim think of some self care appointments you can book with yourself to look after you. Eg Monday is a at home facial, Tuesday meditation etc. whatever makes you feel special. I saw this quote come up on my page and I thought I would share especially in the crazy, uncertain times we face.
