We have N95 respirators arriving this week, provided our supply arrives by air freight. We also have 3 ply masks available and on order. Going forward we believe mask availability will have a major impact on keeping infection rates in check and will allow us to get out and about. Social distancing reduces the rate of infection, masks add another level by reducing infection rates even further.

01.01.2022 Dear Friends You will have noticed over the last two weeks some significant changes at our pharmacy. We are finalising the implementation of our plans that were put in place some time ago when we realised the threat of COVID may reach our shores. The changes are to ensure that we can deliver health services and medicine supplies to you while keeping you safe through implementing infection control measures. We have closed our shopfronts to prevent store access this is necessar...y to ensure we can control the environment we work in, to protect the services we provide, the cleanliness and quality of product we provide and to ensure we can prioritise the services we deliver to those who need them most. Our new shopfronts are open for drop off and collection of medicines and all other needs. We want you to spend as little time outside as possible, so it must be a drop and collect service with no waiting. We will do our very best to provide each and every person with solutions they seek, we have to be able to do this in and organised and appropriate manner. Our stage one goal now, is to help older friends, those above 65, those with health conditions (asthma, COPD, Heart Conditions etc) and those on medicines that put them at greater risk( methotrexate, Imuran, prednisone, chemo, immunotherapy) to stay at home and be able to receive the care they need in their home. We have taken on a number of staff to deliver this service to you at no charge, Medicare is supporting some this service as they want you to stay at home, they are contributing toward the cost. For now please realise we will get through this, it will take some time but we need to protect the most vulnerable people first. If you have a family member that meets this criteria please make use of this service now, and help them to do so if necessary. We have increased the ability to supply critical medicines over a long period of time, this has enabled us to be in a position to continue to provide certain medicines at this time of chronic shortage that others may not have.
