Occupational therapists work people in all stages of life adults of all ages, children and families who may have physical, social or mental health needs. Occupational Therapists aim to enable peoples participation and independence in life activities. OTs prescribe devices to help you do the activities you want and need to do. They will make sure you can use the device in the best way to meet your needs. This means that you will get a total solution and not just a product. Occupational Therapists work in many different places hospitals, private clinics, schools, rehabilitation units, even pharmacies! At SuperPharmacyPlus we have Lisa, our own OT who is able to advise instore on many conditions, aids, equipment and compression garments. #otweek2020 #thisisOT

She is available to consult for your needs instore on Wednesday and Friday 8:30-4:00 each week. Consultations may include: Compression garment fitting Mobility aid advice Bathroom aid advice... Daily living and self care advice Assistance with common hand and upper limb conditions Assistance with navigation of Home Care Package and NDIS funding. SuperPharmacyPlus Mobility is equally dedicated to ensuring that therapists are supported in finding the right equipment and navigating the funding options. Lisa is also available to assist therapists in navigating funding and product options for their clients. Her wealth of experience and access to a wide range of products, means that she is definitely someone who can assist! 03.01.2022 We are celebrating NAIDOC Week! The 2020 National NAIDOC Poster, Shape of Land, was designed by Tyrown Waigana, a Noongar and Saibai Islander man. Tyrown’s artwork tells the story of how the Rainbow Serpent came out of the Dreamtime to create this land. It is represented by the snake and it forms the shape of Australia, which symbolises how it created our lands. The colour from the Rainbow Serpent is reflected on to the figure to display our connection to the Rainbow Serpent, thus our connection to country. The overlapping colours on the outside is the Dreamtime. The figure inside the shape of Australia is a representation of Indigenous Australians showing that this country - since the dawn of time - Always Was, Always Will Be Aboriginal Land. #NAIDOC2020 #NAIDOCWeek #NAIDOC
