25.01.2022 The courtyard and living room landscape window of our Mt Claremont residence finished a year or so ago. Finally have some photos thanks to @dionrobeson which managed to come out great, despite the weather! 25.01.2022 Preliminary design of a single family home in Floreat. To address the southerly aspect of the spacious rear yard, the first floor component was centred on the site, so as northerly light can reach the upper windows of the double height living/kitchen volume at the rear. The house is split into separate zones, allowing for privacy, growth and energy efficiency - a childrens zone with 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a games room, a service zone, with ample parking, a laundry and ...storage, a living zone at the rear opening up to the the pool, and a parents zone on the First Floor, complete with an office. With a large alfresco area, outdoor kitchen and pool, this residence celebrates the WA lifestyle.

21.01.2022 A concept for a holiday house in downtown Margret River. A small lot design, surrounded by road on three sides, careful consideration was given to the separation of public and private space, whilst maintaining lines of sight to forest views and optimising northern solar access. Materiality is experiential, contextual and moody, to differentiate and identify as a short term accommodation, whilst being constructed of cheap and low- maintenance products. ... The clients, two separate families who love mountain biking, wanted a space that could house their bikes safety, sleep themselves and their children comfortably, but also offer investment opportunities by having the property be lettable either as individual suites, or the entire premises.

The Ground Floor offers a complete single bedroom apartment, whilst the First Floor a larger 2 bedroom apartment. Both apartments can used independently, with no shared services and individual entries, or as one complete single dwelling. This opens up income generation possibilities, renting one of the apartments, whilst retaining the amenity of the clients home.... The residence offers covered off-street parking for 4, catering to the clients outdoor, camping and kayaking, lifestyle. The design pushes aesthetic requirements of the codes in the area, whilst responding to its alley location and the context (scale and roofs) of the surrounding established housing.
