13.01.2022 Life Insurance in SMSF (Investment Strategy Builder) Superannuation law dictates that insurance must be considered in your Investment strategy. For many younger SMSF members, having life and TPD insurance paid out of Superannuation means their insurance payments don’t impact their personal cashflow and are also tax deductible in Super. 13.01.2022 Currently 70% of all SMSF's in Australia today are two member funds. Whilst the number of SMSF members being capped at four members was always arbitrary number, is there a real reason why anyone would establish a six members SMSF? 13.01.2022 Feature Article Join the Rich Club (Peter Switzer) Peter has written an excellent book that lays out some down to earth financial information. Unlike ‘Barefoot Investor’ which is anti SMSF, Peter includes SMSF as a great way to grow retirement wealth. The Switzer report and related publications are all part of Peter’s publishing business which aims to help Australians grow their wealth and live their dreams. I recommend putting it on your bedside table as well. To read more... about this book click on the link below. https://d1aettbyeyfilo.cloudfront.net//15652572_1608706168 See more

09.01.2022 WHAT DO YOU FEAR? Share with me in the comments and let's combat our fears together! Fear can be one of the most inhibiting emotions that we as humans can experience. It can stop us from taking on an opportunity, stop us from pursuing a dream and can in most extreme cases become so debilitating that we forget that it is just an emotional response to being outside our comfort zone and we start to loose faith in our abilities. Like most people I used to fear FAILURE. (I still ...do sometimes) Failure to me was the worst thing in the world, I didn't like the way it made me feel and certainly didn't like that people would see that I was human and could make mistakes - after all I am Wonder Woman. But then I realised there really isn't anything to fear in failure. One of my all time favourite quotes is 'There is no such thing as failure, only feedback for future success'. - Tony Robbins When I adopted this thought process and started to really believe in it, I was able to make some pretty bold decisions and make choices to try new things and take the learnings from what didn't work to change and evolve to a point to where things started to become more successful. I embraced my fear, changed my mindset and felt good about what I could learn from failing. I still believe I am Wonder Women but I know that even Wonder Women fails sometimes but she never gives up! Looking forward to hearing from you what your greatest fears are and what you do to overcome them.

02.01.2022 Corporate Trustees 15 years ago, and earlier, most people established their SMSF’s as individuals because the benefits at the time did not warrant the cost. Clients and advisers didn’t foresee the impact that death and divorce would have on SMSF members with individual trustees. How much do you know about Corporate Trustees? You may have noticed that your annual contribution limit has not changed but your annual amount is higher.
