23.01.2022 Dont forget to come to the Rotary Market tomorrow for your delicious soft serve ice-cream. For every ice-cream/slushy/shake sold we will donate $1.00 to Wyanda's Wildlife Rescue Mission..... We will have a donation tin for this and also donation boxes for you to drop off any emergency supplies you would like us to take down south. WYANDAS WILDLIFE RESCUE MISSION... Most people know me as the Sea Shepherd Captain that also drives the LARC, but I am also a very passionate wildlife carer. I feel immensely sad about all the wildlife suffering to the south of us. Please help me help the affected wildlife down south. I have started collecting lots of emergency supplies and Rob, my other half, and myself will drive the items down south ourselves, so we will make sure it does go to the right places. Please find attached the most recent list of emergency items needed as given by Animal Rescue Collective who is doing an amazing job by setting up drop off hubs and safe houses. If you are unable to give any items but you would like to contribute, I have set up a Paypal Money Pool for this under the name: Wyandas Wildlife Rescue Mission. 03.01.2022 To all my animal loving friends. Here is a short update on "Wyanda's Wildlife Rescue Mission". The response from people here in Agnes Water and surroundings, bu...t also from all my friends and family around the world has been awesome!! In donations I have received over $1700 and I have been donated a huge amount of emergency supplies to take down south. Items like pouches, medical items, little trays, wild bird seed, Weet-Bix, cosmetic items for people, cages.....and the list can go in. From all the money donated, either in cash or through Paypal we have bought food for the animals like wild bird seed, sweet potato, dog food, cat food, chaff and Lucerne. Rob and I will drive down very early Saturday morning (Jan 18) with 2 cars, 1 box trailer and 1 car trailer, all full of supplies. We will still pick up more supplies on our way down so donations are still very welcome! We are very excited, also anxious and nervous about the drive, however we are going to do our very best to make sure all items will be delivered where it will be useful. During the trip I will try to send updates so everyone who has donated can see where the suplies are going.... A massive thank you from Rob and myself for everything that has been donated so far!!!!
