25.01.2022 This is a good article on how Bowen therapy works and the benefits our canine friends can achieve from it. As a qualified canine Bowen therapist I see great results from it and my clients do too https://animalwellnessmagazine.com/bowen-therapy-dog/

24.01.2022 Interesting article on the connection between paw licking/chewing and muscle tension along the spine. I see a lot of dogs that have muscle pain whose owners report the dog chews it's paws. https://animalenergytherapies.com/excessive-limb-licking-i/

23.01.2022 Today is the Suppawtive Health Solutions canine diet consultants 7th birthday. Happy birthday Oscar, my Valentine boy

23.01.2022 Here is an article (a quick read) on Bowen Therapy for animals which helps explain what I do in a Bowen therapy session and how it helps your pet. Contact me if you would like to discuss a treatment for your pet. :-) https://animalwellnessmagazine.com/bowen-therapy-dog/

23.01.2022 We will be at the Durack showgrounds for this spectacular event. Bring your canine friends for a treatment at our stall. https://www.facebook.com/events/1302942129859144/?ti=cl

21.01.2022 Today was prep day for my dogs monthly raw food. Its includes organ mix (liver and kidney) and pancreas as per the photo. I was going to write about the important nutrients in organs but found this great article to share instead. It is really worth a read, explaining why organs are an important part of a dogs diet. Read it here... https://perfectlyrawsome.com//liver-other-secreting-organs/

21.01.2022 If you would like to learn massage for your dog this 2 day seminar is on this weekend in East Brisbane

21.01.2022 Excellent info on what to look for and what to do if your pet has licked or killed a cane toad. Also, teach your dog the "leave it" cue so you can tell them to leave a cane toad if they come across one. It's one of the most important things to teach a dog

21.01.2022 After recent, unexpected surgery I took my dog away with me for a few days recuperation at the Sunshine coast. He is having heaps of fun at this wonderful pet friendly property. He even met the biggest dog ever (a horse)

20.01.2022 Did you know your dogs can eat raw eggs and yoghurt? Well they can and its as nutritious for them as it is for us. Here is what is in my dogs bowl tonight. There is also some offal in there too! Contact me if you would like to know more about what your dogs can eat

18.01.2022 Paralysis tick season. This is a paralysis tick embedded above my dogs eye. We noticed it pretty quickly thankfully due to its obvious location. However if it had embedded anywhere else we would have missed it. As much as I try to limit the chemicals given to my dog the one I won't miss is preventative tick medication. Do you know the signs of a paralysis tick bite? Coughing, vomiting, unsteadiness on their feet, difficulty breathing are just some of the early signs. Get to your vet immediately. When we were at the vet last night there was another dog fighting for its life. Check your pet daily by running your fingers through their fur. Especially look at their gums, paws, anus, behind the collar and groin as ticks like to hide there.

18.01.2022 Pain in your pet maybe exhibited by a change in behaviour. Always seek veterinary advice when your pet shows signs of pain or behaviour changes. Only vets can diagnose conditions. If your vet diagnoses musculoskeletal problems massage, laser or Bowen therapy can help. Contact a qualified practitioner for treatment https://www.whole-dog-journal.com//pains-effect-on-behavi/

13.01.2022 This handsome boy is Ollie. He was so relaxed during his laser treatment he fell fast asleep. Laser treatment helps reduce pain and inflammation, improve blood circulation and collagen synthesis. It is included in all our treatments at no additional cost.

10.01.2022 I was recently interviewed by the Courier Mail for this article about animal nutrition, especially in regards to treats. A lot of what I said didn't make it into the article unfortunately. If you would like to know more about healthy food and treats for your pets contact me for an appointment.

10.01.2022 How handsome is this big boy relaxing during his treatment and enjoying a nice nap afterwards?

08.01.2022 For some reason the inbox on this page is not showing me any messages, new or old. Please email me at [email protected] if you need to contact me

06.01.2022 Do you include sardines or mackerel in your dogs bowl? Adding it to their food is a good way of feeding essential Omega fatty 3 acids. My dogs eat fish two to three times a week for this reason

05.01.2022 Another beauty relaxing into her treatment and falling asleep on her mum's leg while I laser her back. Due to being a crazy Jack Russell this girl had a sore neck and back that needed some attention

03.01.2022 In memory of all the heroes on that day and those in the towers

02.01.2022 A little Sunday night game

01.01.2022 As a pet nutritionist I've recently being assisting a company formulate new raw food recipes for dogs. The first 5 foods are chicken, duck, beef, Turkey and salmon, and lamb and salmon. This enables dog owners to provide single source proteins as part of an elimination diet but also provide for food sensitive dogs. Other ingredients include: spirulina, alfalfa and green barley powder organ meat - liver, kidney and pancreas (beef only) vegetables and fruit - kale, cel...ery, sauerkraut and strawberries others - brewers yeast, linseed, rosehip and seaweed meal Please comment below to indicate which (if any) of these meals you would like to see in the shops and what you think of the ingredients list. I also have some free samples to give away if you would like to try them. Here is a photo of the lamb and salmon. It's a bit green due to the spirulina, would the colour put you off buying it?

01.01.2022 Studying puts me to sleep too

01.01.2022 This is very true about training. It's an ongoing event. Everything you do at home is a training opportunity, e.g. mat training when someone comes to the door, sit and wait for food, look at me when out and about, leave it when food falls on the floor (or cane toad in the garden). For puppies, a good training duration is when the ads are on TV. Our dogs are constantly watching us, use it as an opportunity to train
