01.01.2022 Bushfires causing additional distress? Like all Australians, BCNA is thinking of those who have been affected by the bushfires this summer. We know that adding to this crisis would be the challenges for those in treatment and those living with breast cancer. We want our network to know that we are here to help. Our Helpline nurses are reachable on 1800 500 258 and they can assist and connect you with services that are in place.... It’s normal to feel overwhelmed by the current crisis, which can trigger increased feelings of helplessness and despair for people already affected by a breast cancer diagnosis. With thanks to Berlei we can also help women who have lost their post breast surgery bra and assist with providing access to professional care and advice. We are there to support all Australians affected by breast cancer, especially at times of crisis. We would also like to acknowledge and thank all our major partners who are doing so much to help those affected. Warm regards Kirsten Pilatti BCNA CEO
