25.01.2022 A heartwarming thank you following an incident in Banksia Grove in May - Hello to you all Tonight we had an incident ( another party gone wrong) in our street in Banksia Grove that involved the Riot Police and more of the men and women in blue, also a mention goes to the police dogs that were here.... A huge thankyou to you all your efforts and work does not go unnoticed you are all truly amazing. To see the team work you all took on tonight was nothing more than fantastic. You all put yourself on the frontline everyday you start your shift and to see your work tonight and how everything was handled you deserve to be acknowledged for it. From start to finish the whole situation was handled professionally and with the best organisation. Totally proud of the the Police that were here tonight and just wanted to say a big thankyou. You all do such an amazing job and sadly some people don't actually appreciate what you do or respect you for that matter. Thankyou for all you do and making myself, my family and of course the other families in our street have a safer night tonight. Regards Roanna

13.01.2022 Today, we pay tribute to First Class Constable Dennis (Den) Green 14410 after his tragic death on duty, as a result of a motorcycle crash. The married father of... two was working at Traffic Enforcement Group and has served with the WA Police Force for six years. Yesterday, he was completing a training exercise in West Toodyay when his life was cut short. All WAPU Members, along with their friends and families, have been deeply saddened by this tragic accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with Den’s family, friends and colleagues during this incredibly difficult time. The Police Family mourns together as one. Rest In Peace friend and colleague. We Will Remember.

11.01.2022 Today we said goodbye to our Commissioner of Police. After 13 years in the top job, and almost 44 years in WA Police, he was officially ‘marched off’ with a fai...r deal of fanfare and ceremony. You’ll want to turn the sound up because the WA Police Pipe Band played a montage of modern classics and it was awesome! #CoPMarchOff #WAPOL
