22.01.2022 At least now the days are getting longer even if we're still in for some pretty cold mornings. Creating new beginnings after the winter solstice. Switching up the mindset and noticing old patterns of behavior to be left behind.

21.01.2022 Even though I'd had a full day I could sense the need to pause on my way home. I knew 10 minutes to myself would set me up well as I headed towards home. The sun setting over the Barwon River just the tonic last night.



21.01.2022 A quick pit stop along 13th Beach this afternoon. The sound of the gentle lapping of the waves and the smell of beach a perfect way let go and reset on my way home.

Rather than say I cant because of some part of your body that is holding you back. Here Im about to do just that go for a swim because the opportunity can up and I was able to say Im good to go. Ive had my down time and I know what the look on you kids faces is like or how you feel when they stop even asking. I want to help you get back to being able to saying. Im good to go. Lets do it. To be in a place again where dreams can be done.

Even the process of calling them to mind and not being able to remember one is an insight in itself.... The final one - Am I doing my best - gives me grace and purpose in one. Important to remember as well, that it is my best, not anyone else's.

06.01.2022 Today were being encouraged to phone a friend. In lock down its all too easy to forget that a mate can be right there on the end of a phone call. A great helpful list our kids made at school one time was on a cutout of their hand they had to write down the names of others adults they could turn to if Loretta and I werent available. They came up with some great people we knew that would be awesome supporters form them if they needed it. ... In this case who are your 5 mates and friends who you could reach out to? This is a great exercise no matter your age.

06.01.2022 I was telling a friend about my brain calendar this morning. A couple of activities I have ear marked to recommence in the coming weeks and months. Whats interesting as I begin to come closer to them I can feel my body responding and getting ready. ... It is also driving some subconscious decision making that also go to making these activities more possible. They are to begin to run and surf again. Activities that have been off the table this year. At a subconscious level my body is coming back on line and healing in the process. And I getting excited at the prospect of doing them again. Tap in to the power of your brain calendar.
