25.01.2022 Ehsmans Voe (Culgoa Dash x Ehsmans Quamby) will be joined soon to Ehsmans Joe (Sunraysia George Ehsmans Cinch). Cinch is by Capree Crash out out Ehsmans Quamby. This will give us a double cross of our Exceptional bitch Ehsmans Sweep who was recently joined to Capree Pride. Expecting excellent cattle and sheep paddock types that will back and bark in the yards.

20.01.2022 Capree Gypsy on some young ewe lambs.

20.01.2022 Gypsy and Hope have everything under control, just patiently moving ewes and lambs closer to the yards for marking this week. We are hoping to join Capree Gypsy to Ehsmans Joe (double cross of Sunraysia George) in next few weeks to produce strong cattle dogs that work sheep correctly in the paddock.

14.01.2022 Jakob Lee travelled down from Queensland with his family yesterday to purchase a very special Supreme Kelpie. This is Supreme Jim who I put a lot of time into thinking he was the last of the Sweep pups, but we have a Capree Donald/Sweep bitch pup now, six weeks old. It was hard to let Jim go but he has gone to a lovely family and will enjoy his life being trained to work Dorpers.

14.01.2022 Supreme Kelpie Stud Ben had his first go loading trucks today. He really enjoyed himself and after loading a 1000 freshly shorn ewes he was looking for the next truck. Ben is going extremely well in the paddock and switches over to yard work with ease. Few more months work and hell be a great asset to our farm.

14.01.2022 Supreme Jim who is from Sweeps last litter may become available soon as Sweep has pups and I want a female. Jim has had a heap on handling and well started.

13.01.2022 Six years ago a trial was held to find the Ultimate Stock Dog. The dog worked in the paddock, in the yards and on cattle. The scores from their 3 runs were tallied to find the best all round dogs. Our Ehsmans Sweep placed second overall. Just take a look at the calibre of dogs that competed. So proud of our Sweep she is an incredible dog.

12.01.2022 Two sets of Triplets born this morning. Lamb due to start tomorrow, but 11 ewes have lambs already. Just love lambing time and so does Ehsmans Sweep. Shes been splitting the twins up in the paddock to mobs of 35 and we are hoping for a huge marking percentage in our twin ewes in November.

11.01.2022 Just an update on Supreme Jim. He had a sleep over in Sydney last night and hit the Sydney beaches first think this morning before heading to his new home in Queensland today.

09.01.2022 Things are getting real at Birrabindi with troughs being delivered for our newly sub divided paddocks, the poly is here and the trencher comes tomorrow to instal the new troughs onto concrete pads in the new paddocks created by MKD Fencing. Hopefully heaps more lambs this year to help pay off the development.

08.01.2022 Capree Gypsy giving Ehsmans Joe his first go in the race. Both dogs are by current Australian Yard Dog Champion Sunraysia George. Joe is 4.5 months old and keen to back first go.

07.01.2022 We have MKD Fencing here at the moment dividing up a few paddocks into smaller ones so that we are able to lamb our twin ewes in smaller mobs. The dogs love being out and about.

07.01.2022 I would rate seeing the snow higher on my list than seeing the ocean, which I always love to see. Such a beautiful place to live, Birrabindi, Supreme Kelpie Stud, Newbridge, NSW. Hopefully it snowless day.

06.01.2022 Ehsmans Sweep, getting on but still an absolute pleasure to do stock work with, no commands necessary, she is always in the right spot and knows her job and lets the sheep go at their own pace. We are hopeful Supreme Lexi out of Sweep by Capree Donald will be just as good. We have a red and tan male litter brother to Lexi available.

04.01.2022 We are pleased to announce Ehsmans Sweep has delivered 6 amazing pups to Capree Donald. Mum and pups are doing great. This is Sweeps last litter. She has kept me up the last two nights and Im really looking forward to a good sleep Tonight.

04.01.2022 Absolutely stoked with these two. Supreme Kelpie Studs Ben and Beloka Nikki. Two massive days of sheep work. Today we scanned our pure Merino ewes who were joined to our Capree Studs rams and achieved 158 percent with only 38 drys in the 1,000 ewes. That result is even more amazing considering we put last years 44 drys back in with our ewes as we kept them as training sheep. This year the 38 drys are off to the market next week and our goal is to scan 180 percent next year.

Hopefully, a future brood bitch here at the stud.
