23.01.2022 How do you look after patent and padding??? PATENT - The most important things are not to scratch it and keep bridle oil and anything greasy well away from it. Dont let it bake in the hot sun. And if you need to clean it simply wipe it over with a wet cloth that has water on it only. PADDING - Wipe it over with a wet cloth with either water only or you can use water with glyercine soap. ... Pictured below are padded reins, patent nosebands and a false chainguard and lipstrap set

08.01.2022 How does made to measure work I like to do all the bridle measuring myself as being given measurements never ends in a nice fitting bridle. Option 1 is I can post out a fitting bridle that you fit to your horse with the bits that you plan to always use, changing bits around can alter where you buckle the bridle up so you really need to have decided on the bit you and your horse like. Follow the instructions included with the fitting bridle. Then take a clear close up photo... of the bridle on the horse from both sides before you post it back to me. Option 2 if you have a spare bridle at home that can be used as a fitting bridle. A plain browband needs to be used and take a photo from both sides before you post it to me. 04.01.2022 Hello Everyone I hope everyones been going ok during these strange times. I've been ticking along with orders over the last 6 months and I have lots to show you and I'll try to post more often. The last couple of weeks I've received an overwhelming amount of orders so I'm a little behind my usual turnaround time. I'm going to need 4 weeks with any orders coming in now. I work by myself and bridle making is all hand made so its slow going but I'll do my best to catch up and g...et back to my usual turnaround time. Regards Annalee

03.01.2022 Sedgwicks Leather is the only brand of leather I use on my bridles. Sedgwicks do make a few different standards of leather but I only use the first selection which is the best. Im very careful with my bridle cutting and I always do my best to cut around scars, growth marks and veins. Yes cows have growth marks and scars too, some hides have more than others. Without quality leather your not going to have a bridle that lasts decades. Sedgwicks has been around since 1900
