25.01.2022 TD42 Silver Top Turbo Build Every welsh plug is removed and all oil galleries are cleaned with gallery brushes. Block is hydro washed and acid bathed then cleaned with hot water pressure cleaner. This stage of the build is critical to get a good result. Quality ACL Bearings ... 16.01.2022 Toyota Hilux 1KD build progress pictures. Step 1. Block being fully acid washed Step 2. Block and all parts put through Turbowash hot wash. Step 3. Engine and parts pressure cleaned with Karcher hotwater pressure cleaner and degreaser. Step 4. Block painted in enamel high temp paint. ... Only after that can the build process start. See more

15.01.2022 Ford Ranger engine WEAT Strip down of this engine has revealed that whoever replaced the cylinder head recently didn’t know they had to put liquid sealer under the front cam cradle and cap. If this engine hadn’t failed the customer would have complained about an oil leak sooner or later. At Surebuilt we pride ourselves on knowing these little things that make a big difference to the quality of the job.

14.01.2022 Facing the exhaust manifold is an important job when rebuilding an engine. We do this in-house at Surebuilt. I have seen many times when this hasn’t been done and cost the customer several hundred dollars after the initial rebuild.

02.01.2022 Ford Ranger WAET 3.0L engine fully rebuilt and new injectors, timing belt kit and water pump supplied. Ready to be freighted out.

02.01.2022 TD42 Rebuild update. A combination of problems has been found. 1. A lack of coolant changes has caused severe corrosion. 2. Engine was rebuilt approx 2 years ago and updated to accommodate an after market turbo. High volume oil squirters and high volume oil pump need to be fitted to allow for extra piston cooling. As you can see from the photo the size difference between the two oil squirters. The correct parts were not fitted. 3. Engine has been overheated
