25.01.2022 This album has our current dogs and a brief description of their work and training stage. The dogs should be divided into two groups; Chloe's dogs and Callum's dogs. We both have different preferences in what we are looking for in a dog and like to work them in slightly different ways (at least that's what we say to stop marital arguments while training together). Callum has a preference for bitches, while Chloe prefers dogs, at least that's the rule, we both have exceptions. Chloe's dogs do need to be able to be satisfied with short training sessions as well as back up with days of work, as, with Lachy in tow, she's not able to do full days currently. Callum's dogs can be more intense and need the more intense work, as he is handling stock almost daily.

24.01.2022 A little snap shot into Lilly and Munson helping me shift ewes and lambs onto water. Not the best footage, I was spending a large amount of time making sure the pram didn't fall down holes and discovering the wrath of plover parents.

23.01.2022 Surefoot travelled to Forbes this weekend for the yard dog trial. We didn't achieve anything big this weekend but Callum and Kez did manage to snag 3rd in the local class. Thanks to Olly Hanson and Felicity for a great weekend. ... Thanks to Tuffrock K9 and TuffRock Australia for helping us keep our dogs healthy.

23.01.2022 Kids and dogs. Lachlan defiantly loves his dogs. I'm not sure who takes whom on adventures but one or the other is often leading the other astray - whether it is hiding the remains of lunch, helping with dinner (and the TuffRock's supplements - notice how shiny Lachlan's hair is?), digging holes in the garden or just someone willing to play an endless game of fetch, these guys are always up to mischief. He certainly never bored anyway.

22.01.2022 PUPPY ALERT!! Just shy of 1 week ago Lilly gave birth to 5 healthy pups. Lilly is a great first time mum. She is very attentive to her babies. Sire - Surefoot Alfred. Alfie is Callum's main dog. He is a great paddock dog and he is adapting to yard work. He works sheep, cattle and goats. ... Dam - S/Bred Lilly. Lilly is Chloe's bitch but Callum was pinching her from time to time before the pups for both paddock and yard work. She also works sheep, cattle and goats. Litter : 2x Males, 1x black and tan, 1x red and tan. 3x Females, 2x black and tan, 1x red and tan.

21.01.2022 Surefoot Worm (Case) lot 6 at the Guerie auction on the 26th of September (on Auctionsplus from midday tomorrow ). These are dry ewes fresh from the paddock 2 weeks ago, we use Case as well as a couple other experienced dogs to break these girls in for young pups.

13.01.2022 Surefoot Worm (Case) 3YR OLD Available for new working home. DESEXED MALE Case is a very natural dog that adapts to new jobs very quickly. He is a very friendly dog that just wants to please. ... Case had a later start then most as his previous owner never started him and moved to town before sending him back to us. The 3rd day case came back to us Callum put him in the training pen and he went straight to work. Case is ready for commands and adapts to new rules very well. Case has worked small mobs of ewes and lambs (140-200) and has seen a small mob of young rams (200-250). Case has been back with us for awhile now and we are only moving him on as we do not need him. As Callum has several young dogs coming along plus his go to team. Videos and more info available upon request.

10.01.2022 TuffRocks Mud has got to be the most versatile tool in our first aide kit. Alfie has a lovely puncture in his arm pit /chest area. The mud not only soothes and reduces swelling, it also helps keep foreign objects from entering the wound as well as encouraging healing from the inside out. 05.01.2022 Saturday, we headed to Tooraweenah, we didn’t come home with any prizes but we did return with more knowledge than we left with. Many thanks to the organizers and fellow competitors for a great day and fantastic company.

05.01.2022 It's been a long week of shifting sheep to and from the shed as well as putting all the weaners out to their paddocks. Since Friday we've had 62mm with more rain this morning. Can't wait to see the paddocks boom with green again, as they all had started haying off again.

04.01.2022 We did a day run to Bourke Nsw on saturday to deliver The Dill Man (Surefoot Dill) to his new home on a 214,000acre sheep station. He will have some big paws to fill out there. But we strongly believe he will fill them.

01.01.2022 Callum ventured to Gunnedah yard dog trial on the weekend. Although he didn't bring home any ribbons in was still a successful weekend for Callum, Surefoot Alfred and Capree kez. With Alfie getting 81 in the maiden with a time of 3mins 58sec on a 5min course. Which finished him inside the top 10 in a 65 dog class. Very happy with Alfie after only his second trial. Kez ran in the open with a 86 with a time of 7mins 18sec on a 8min course. Which finished her just inside the t...op 10 in a 36 dog class. Very happy with our results even though we didn't bring home any placings. Thanks again to Tuffrock K9 and TuffRock Australia for helping us keep our dogs healthy.
