25.01.2022 SURF CONNECT FOIL GALA & FREE FOIL LESSON! Lets have a foil party on the weekend after next (19/20 Sept), Ill have camera and drone out, will also run a free foil lesson for all Surf Connect customers where our instructor Geoff will be out in deep water on our safety boat, giving everyone tips. So if both your kite and foil were purchased from us, then you can go in for free. If you need help getting out there, he can take your foil out on the boat while you kite out on your twintip. PM for details. If Jalen or Max is free I will also invite them to jump on the boat.

23.01.2022 FORECAST (welcome Spring!): Tues: South to southwesterly 10 to 15 knots, becoming southerly 15 to 20 knots during the morning then tending southeasterly in the middle of the day. Wed onwards: seabreeze developing (start of season?) East to southeasterly 10 to 15 knots turning northeasterly during the morning and early afternoon. Winds reaching up to 20 knots in the far north in the late morning. We still have plenty of gear on sale. Come and grab a bargain, or treat yourself with some new 2021 gear!

22.01.2022 Want to get into Kitesurfing? Good news, wind is back and lessons are on! However, kitesurfing is a very high risk extreme sport, it is vital that you should not risk learning with mates, people or shops that are not professionally qualified in teaching. Only learn with accredited schools where you know you are fully insured and have safety boats at hand. Surf Connect is the only Accredited International Kiteboarding School in Brisbane and has been in operation since 2005. Ea...ch lesson will be evaluated and certified, giving you international recognition for your learning. You can then use the certification to rent equipment from any IKO Centres around the world for the rest of your life. Lessons are held at Sandgate on the Northside of Brisbane and you will not find a safer environment in which to learn. A short walk from the train station and only half an hour ride from Brisbane City, the beach has cafes, restaurants, toilets and showers. Lessons are available more or less 7 days a week when the wind is right. Be warned though - kitesurfing is extremely addictive and fun. Once tried, there is no turning back!
