13.01.2022 This has been a hectic couple of months. .. I'm so sorry that repairs have taken so long to do. Especially folds and broken surfboards. I have no idea where March went to. Again sorry for the delays in getting your surfboards completed.... Nearly on top of things now or soon will be.

What has been done, makes me as a repairer, nauseous. As one customer said, i"t belongs in the bin, but knowing me, I just want to see if I can do it".... Maybe true... ? See more

11.01.2022 Overseas imports. Check this on a new import. A slight Crack started to appear though the painted surface. Local surfshop says not their problem... take it to Jim. I warned the owner that I didn't know what was going on until I sanded and revealed the problem.... So this pic is the result. A damaged surfboard that had been painted twice to cover up factory fault... damaged in factory and sent out as new. Looks like a hole meal bread slice. Shame on this industry... imports. At least if you by local.. you can deal local.

11.01.2022 Having a Work Experience student here this week. Things might be a bit slow. And me with the flu.

05.01.2022 How often does it happen? 2 boards out of Brett Munro's Prana surfboards in coffs harbour. One on left No. 4/92 and 11/91 on right. ( November 1991 and April 1992) both KCR kevlar carbon reinforced. Right is mine, left is customers. Mine needed rear fin repair, other side fin repair.

04.01.2022 Tolhurst disaster. .. Progress report.

04.01.2022 Update on billy tolhurst harley disaster. ... Melted foam removed and replaced.

04.01.2022 Still working most days. It'll be done when it's done. No good me busting myself when my own health needs to be good. Note; if you don't surf normally, don't start now. It is no good adding to the numbers and creating an unfavorable situation.

04.01.2022 Having a holiday soon... real soon. So if you have a repair job here needing to be picked up..... make it quick before it's locked up.

04.01.2022 Update on the Tolhurst disaster. Near completed.

03.01.2022 Lucky 2300th customer was....... Jan Clarke. Yep she had her repair costs refunded to her..... a little stoked she was . It's what we do here at surf craft repairs. Every 100th paid repair has their costs refunded to them.

03.01.2022 A friend came in, and I call him this, cause everyone needs a friend. He sent this to a guy in Yamba, I know not who. The guy started the job and gave up. All the damage you see was done by this so called repairer.... My advice to him is, pull $2000 out of your bank account and give it to the owner. And throw a carton for beer in as well. You have totally f........ it. I still have nausea each time I look at it. And yes, I'm going to have a go at restoring it once the nausea settles.

03.01.2022 Well it is happening again ... The 2300 repair is about to be done . Who will it be now? "every 100th repair has it's costs refunded to the owner" Yewwwwwwww :-)

02.01.2022 Closed for Christmas. Luckily God wasn't closed to us when he came as Jesus. You could say he said "it's on, lots to do, lets get this done"

02.01.2022 A few pointers. 1. Epoxy styrene boards sucks in water if damaged even small cracks can cause big repair costs. 2. If travelling and you ding your board, carry a tube of araldite epoxy with you and a roll of clear tape. Scratch the ding area. Mix a small quantity of araldite. Dab on ding. With the clear tape .. tape over epoxy on ding. This forms the shape and seals ding. Next day remove tape. Should be sealed now... if not add a bit more. You can add a little glass to it as well.
