16.01.2022 SPOCC minnows - first-ever OC race for this cool bunch of kids... Our newest club members with just 1 month, training twice a week under their belts. They thoroughly enjoyed being out on the water racing against other crews, clubbies & supporters loved cheering them on. An impressive performance, with awesome results. 10.01.2022 A busy weekend for our members competing at the iconic Sydney Harbour Challenge. Congratulations to our SMM crew. 22kms the longest distance race for half the crew to date 1:53mins. A great achievement for our 3 new/dev paddlers who reach their 1st year anniversary shortly. The crew also had intl paddling bro Alec from SPC & 2 exp club members Andrew & coach Daryl. Big smiles crossing the finish line ... Coaches are super proud of the performance by all club members. Steve, Wayne, Dicko you guys have ascended to dev members, you can no longer be classed as novice All members worked solidly and with control. Great vibe on and off the water, always good crack ups. Congratulations to our other members who competed strongly in composite mixed teams helping others to get on the water. A big thank you to our members back on the GC who were supporting our SHC members while fundraising for the club & world sprint teams.
