We had a booking for 3 days with Surfers for a Kia Cerato; reached Gold coast a day later than we were supposed to. I made a call to inform them of changed plans 24 hours before the pickup and they changed the booking to 2 days, no questions asked. Our dramas did not end there. We realised that we wanted to cover point danger close to the airport and requested that we drop the car off on ou...r last day at their airport location instead of the city office from where we picked it up; again the customer service was excellent and they shared all details of how to do it at once. Then, finally on the day of drop-off, we ended up getting late for the airport itself and were still in the rental car on M1 trying to make it for the flight, when we called Lynda and told her that if we drop off the car at her office, we might not make it to the fight at all. and still they came up with a solution; had our car dropped off in the parking and they arranged it to be picked later. I have never seen such amazing and personalised service from a big car rental like Hertz or Avis, and even if they did, we would have ended up shelling out an exorbitant price to the bigger companies before someone even moved a pen there.
