12.01.2022 If last weekend was any guide, we're headed for a warm and busy summer. These are the days when people flock to our beaches. Oftentimes, conditions can be unple...asant and even hazardous with dumping waves, strong rips and even flotillas of bluebottles doing their worst. Then there are the restrictions that come with COVID. If the crowds get too big, beaches will be closed to further arrivals. Now, Surf Life Saving Australia has developed an App through which you can search any beach in Australia before you leave home. There you'll find current information on conditions, patrol services, hazards, weather, swell and tides. The site's updated regularly and also includes advice on when beaches are full.
