18.01.2022 Calling all Runners! Surf Racing Australia, is inviting all sprinters and runners to the FIRST ever BeachCross Trial event on Saturday 29th June at Cronulla Beach. This FREE event will begin at 2pm and is open to athletes above 18 years of age of all abilities. Register here https://playsport.com/beachcrosstrial... What is BeachCross? BeachCross is a new race concept, encompassing beach sprinting and middle distance running events on the sand. This is the first time that the BeachCross format will be trialled and Surf Racing Australia would love to see a strong turnout of participants to gain valuable feedback and insights, with a view to staging competitive BeachCross events in the future. How to enter: Registrations for this event are being processed via @playsportaustralia Although registration is FREE, numbers need to be collected in order to ensure the event is staged as efficiently as possible. The first Hydrothon at Cronulla kick started Hydrothon and since then we have held 31 events in 6 states and NZ for over 5,000 participants and... have given back over $50,000 to clubs and individuals.
